My thoughts: First, the disclaimer. "I purchased a Kindle copy of this book. All opinions are my own." That done, I really enjoy Ms. Comer's books (one of my favorite contemporary romance authors) and OTHER THAN A HALO is no exception. It is well-thought out with realistic characters, broken and forgiven, a strong faith message that is flawlessly inserted, and a hero who is so sweet, kind, and considerate. 

There is (as I said) a strong faith message, and also a strong farm message, as Bren is a farmer, managing a farm that was started in the first book in this series (More Than a Tiara). I like the way Ms. Comer combined beauty and nature, farms and fantasy. I also loved how even the hurts were used to minister to the hurting -- just like God to do so. 

If you like contemporary romance, try Ms. Comer's books. A great read, and highly recommended. I loved this story and can't wait to read Ms. Comer's next book (coming next month, though it won't be in this series). Check her books out.
