My thoughts (reviewed by Marilyn):  

Jan Drexler never fails to deliver a masterful historical Amish fiction story. Convenient Amish Proposal set during the Great Depression Era in Indiana will remind readers life hasn’t always been easy. Bethany and Andrew’s tale is one filled with resilient, courage, healing, learning to let go and faith. Adorable little Mari stole my heart from the beginning, just like Bethany falling in love with her. Andrew’s mother-in-law Rose, I wanted to tell her to mind her own business at times when she came to steal Mari back to Iowa. Andrew and Bethany had their struggles but when sickness hit maybe they could finally find a deeper relationship than their convenient wedding to provide Mari with a mother and Andrew with a housekeeper. There are other budding relationships within Bethany’s family which were all males which made this truly a historical romance. I look forward to reading more of Jan Drexler’s historical Amish books in the future.
