Marilyn's thoughts: This was a fun read with Micah and Susannah. Micah’s
rebellious attitude and being spoiled by his sisters gave way to his immaturity
and not taking responsibility at the age of 25. He was sent to his grandparents
in Indiana to
instill values and a work ethic but he was still his cocky self. Working for
Bishop Beiler gave him an opportunity to interact more with Susannah. She had
set herself up to remain single after all she had endured in life. Her decision
to be his girlfriend while he was Indiana
gave her a chance to enjoy life, even though their activities were questioned
by the ministry. There were some unexpected heart pounding events that may just
wake individuals up on their view of life. There is a good faith message of
God’s love and forgiveness along with individuals learning to find forgiveness
for their own actions. “Life was precious, and it was best to take nothing for
granted.” I highly recommend this latest
Love Inspired book by Chapman to readers.
