My thoughts: I look forward to Ms Carlson's Christmas novellas every year and this one was a very good one. Its women's fiction with a tiny touch of romance and its just perfect for this years holiday read. I loved getting to know Vera and Beverly and Tasha and Fiona but not Eleonor so much. If you are looking for a good -- short -- Christmas read, a good coffee table book, or a Christmas book for a gift then this is a book to consider. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.
