Still wrestling with accepting God’s comforting peace, Anna sets out on a journey to uncover the truth behind Simon’s disappearance and then his untimely return to Willow Springs. But her discovery leads her to question both Simon and God’s ultimate promises.

Marilyn's thoughts: This is a story that will resonant with readers that struggle or know someone that has
anxiety and trust issues because of trauma or misunderstandings. Anna’s anxieties and
trust issues were beautiful portrayed in a heartfelt story to show how family, prayer, God’s
leading can take a shattered life and turn it into one of peace, joy, love and excitement in
serving God. Simon and Anna had obstacles to overcome but nothing is impossible when
seeking God through prayer and His Word.
Each one of The Amish Women of Lawrence County books to date deal with issues that
women face in life today. Tracy Fredrychowski has a creative and inspiring way to develop
her stories where God’s love, forgiveness, salvation is meant for each one. This is not your
typical Amish romance as it’s gently filled with faith and Biblical truths. I highly
recommend reading this series starting with book 1 to gain a full picture of the Byler’s
family history and their Amish community, where members were discovering God’s plan
of salvation was the assurance for eternal life and not by their works.
I received an advanced e-book of this story from the author without any obligation to write
a positive review. I have expressed my own thoughts.
