Marilyn's thoughts: This is a wonderful introduction to Chapman’s new series Indiana Amish Market. The
story is set in beautiful Shipshewana, Indiana with the largest outdoor market in the
Midwest. Becca works with her father at the market. Gideon was sent to Shipshewana to
fill Becca’s position, as Becca desire is to join Mennonite Disaster Service and travel to
see the world. The chemistry between Becca and Gideon was rough initially but over time
a budding romance. What’s going to happen when Becca receives her call from MDS and
receive her father’s blessings to go?
Chapman’s writing is always a joy to read as her stories are filled with great characters,
picturesque scenes and events to bring an uplifting and heartwarming tale. I look forward
to reading this entire series to see how Amos Yoder and his other four daughters lives will
change in a touching story from Chapman.
