My Thoughts: Titus is the 4th book in this series but it stands alone. Titus and Presley used to date but she threw him over for his abusive brother. She was a beauty queen and knew it but she was weak and allowed herself to be abused. I am not abused so maybe I just didn't understand why she put up with it. I was hoping she'd find some gumption and stand up for herself and what was right. This is light on the romance and heavier on the suspense. Fans of Ms Barritt will likely love it. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.
