My thoughts: A Vast and Gracious Tide by Lisa Carter is an older book and I think the first book I read by this author. McKenna and Caden were at each other's throats from the beginning you know very aggressive way. She was bossy, he was stubborn and one wondered how they would ever get past the hurdles. There is a suspense, I figured out who done it early on but it was interesting to read to see how and why, and I enjoyed the story. There is multiple romances in it and a lot of adjustment to be made for everyone. Set in the outer Banks of North Carolina it was an interesting read. . I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.
