Title: Crystal the Christmas Angel
Author: Theresa Oliver
Publisher: Write More Publications
Pages: 66
Genre: Children’s Picture Book
All of the angels in Heaven are preparing for a big event, and Crystal, a little angel, wants to be a part of it. But the more she tries, the more the angels tell her that she is just too little. That is, until God himself gives her the biggest, most important task of all … going with the Archangel Gabriel to Mary, and bringing God’s greatest gift to the world. But can Crystal do what God asks? Journey with Crystal as she discovers that God sometimes chooses the most unlikely for the greatest tasks. Crystal also discovers that you are never too little to do great things. You just need to believe and never give up.

My thoughts:  CRYSTAL THE CHRISTMAS ANGEL is a cute children's story. Not exactly biblically correct, but it is still cute. The message is that even little kids can do important jobs. Like Crystal who was too little to help clean Heaven, too little sing in the choir, but yet she helped Gabriel deliver the news to Mary, stayed with Mary during the nine-months of pregnancy and then delivered the news to the shepherds and became the Star of Bethlehem. (like I said, not biblically correct.)

I love the graphics that were sent with this tour. They are so cute.  The art work in the book is just as appealing and will hold a small child's attention.  4 stars for a unique retelling of Christ's birth from the perspective of a little angel. \
