Andie Adams objected loudly when her boss, Miss Mona, suggests she go to Columbia to check out the emeralds that Miss Mona wants to buy for her home shopping network. And the emeralds are supposed to be among the most fabulous in the world. But Andie had enough excitement with the other two foreign trips she needed to take, and more travel woes is not on Andie’s agenda.

Despite her objections, Andie soon finds herself flying – alone – to Columbia. But she isn’t even there a day when her purse is stolen. Her gorgeous co-host, Max Matthews, hops the nearest plane to rush to Andie’s rescue, but even he can’t keep further disasters from occurring.

Can Max get Andie out of Columbia alive? What will this dangerous trip mean for their reluctant romance?

A CUT ABOVE is the third book in The Shop-Til-U-Drop Collection by Ms. Aiken’s. I fell in love with this series in book one, Priced to Move, and couldn’t wait to read A Steal of a Deal, and A CUT ABOVE. The adventure is non-stop, the tension between Andie and Max is extremely well done, and the faith message is inspiring.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading A CUT ABOVE and the descriptions of Columbia included in this novel. I also learned a few things about emeralds. A CUT ABOVE is definitely a novel worth picking up. I highly recommend this book and this series. A CUT ABOVE ends with a hint about a fourth book in the series, but I couldn’t find any information on it online. $12.99. 267 pages.
