"Watching Kacey and Ben maneuver past hurts and fall back in love made for a perfect afternoon reading. Wild Montana Skies is a wonderful love story."--Dee Henderson, author of Taken

The last thing Search and Rescue helicopter pilot Kacey Fairing needs upon returning home to Mercy Falls, Montana, is to run into her mistakes. After a devastating crash during her recent military tour in Afghanistan, she is emotionally broken but ready to start putting her life back together. She just wants to reconnect with her teenage daughter and spend the summer working as the new lead pilot of PEAK Rescue in Glacier National Park.

But her mistakes aren't so easily forgotten. Because Ben King is also back in town.

Country music star Ben King abandoned his past when he moved to Nashville thirteen years ago to start his career. He hoped to heal his broken heart, caused by losing the woman he loved. But when his father is injured, Ben is called home to help manage PEAK Rescue during his recovery. He doesn't realize his father has ulterior motives until his old flame, Kacey, walks into his house and back into his heart.

Now, with Mercy Falls in a state of emergency due to flash floods, Kacey and Ben will have to work together to save lives. But when secrets are uncovered and old hurts rise to the surface, will they walk away again? Or can they find a different ending to their country love song?

First, the disclaimer. "I was provided a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own." That done, WILD MONTANA SKIES  is a story about search and rescue workers -- who have both moved on to bigger careers but find themselves both back home where there roots were, where their biggest hurts and regrets are, and where they both have obligations.

Kacey got pregnant outside of marriage, and when her boyfriend--who'd proposed--spend the night in jail, then disappeared, left her baby with her parents and joined the Army. She made good money, supported her daughter, and all was good -- except for her regrets.

Benjamin King was told Kacey never wanted to see him again. He followed his dream to Nashville and became a country music star--until another country star stole his songs...

WILD MONTANA SKIES was a little slow starting, but by the time I got to chapter 5 I had to keep reading.  I loved Ben's dad, it was neat seeing how another story worked into this one and I'm anxious to read the next book in the series to find out what happened to Esme -- of course, that might be dragged on into book 3 of the series.

This has romance, but it is not pure romance. It is also adventure.

Fans of Ms. Warren will inhale this book. I love how she works in spiritual truths into the lives of hurting individuals and shows how God can heal. A great read. Don't miss WILD MONTANA SKIES.

Sounds like another great book to read with God's truths interwoven into the story.
