This book is filled with all the amazing qualities of a
winsome romance and suspense Christian novel. The newly weds experienced more
than they had anticipated when they returned to the family’s sheep farm. The characters are three dimensional with
their struggles but they were faithful to their wedding vows and their faith in
God. They were transparent with their doubts but remained faithful that others
saw the depth of God’s love within their hearts. The attacks on their personal
lives, the farm whether destroying their flock and property or sabotaging
everything the couple enjoyed gave way to my emotions being right in the middle
of each scene and dialogue. Their fortitude, faith, support of family and
friends gave them the strength to endure until the mysterious attackers could
be caught. The author’s research not only of Scotland , sheep farmers, detectives
and security practices but adoption and struggles of perspective parents shined
throughout the story.
